• Take technical ownership of SAP Business One installation - keeping it running, resolving user issues, and delivering new configuration and enhancements
• Hands-on ownership role with full knowledge of system configuration, customizations, integrations, and undocumented behavior
• Understand business processes well enough to challenge requirements before implementation
System Ownership and Support:
• Take over full working knowledge of SAP Business One installation and document it
• Provide day-to-day support to SAP users across Finance, Supply Chain, Production and Retail
• Investigate, resolve, and root-cause issues within agreed response times
• Distinguish user error, data error, configuration gap and genuine defect, fixing underlying causes
• Manage escalations to SAP partner or vendor
Implementation and Enhancement:
• Translate business requirements into working configuration: user-defined fields, formatted searches, approval procedures, authorizations
• Build and maintain integrations between SAP and operational systems using Service Layer, DI API, or middleware
• Write and review technical specifications, supervise external developers
• Own unit testing and SIT, support business users through UAT, manage release and change control
Master Data:
• Own SAP master data: item/material, business partner, pricing, BOM/recipe, chart of accounts, cost centres
• Define and enforce master data standards and approval flow
• Build tooling for bulk creation, mass change, and validation
Reporting:
• Build and maintain operational and financial reports using Crystal Reports, SAP B1 queries, dashboards
• Work with Data & BI team on extraction into central analytics platform
• Rationalize existing report estate
S/4HANA Readiness:
• Maintain current inventory of processes, customizations, integrations and master data objects
• Keep master data clean and structured for migration
• Flag proposed customization that would be difficult to carry forward
• Build own S/4HANA capability through training and certification
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Information Systems, Accounting/Finance, or related field
• 1-3 years hands-on experience implementing and supporting ERP system (SAP or comparable enterprise ERP)
• Experience through at least one full implementation or major rollout
• Working understanding of core business processes end-to-end: procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, record-to-report, inventory and production
• Strong SQL - able to query, join, reconcile and investigate data independently
• Experience building reports for business users
• Experience with system integration - APIs, file interfaces, or middleware
• Structured and self-directed approach
• Current SAP Certified Associate qualification (mandatory)
